The simplified SARL in a nutshell
The simplified limited liability company, also known as SARL-S or one-euro limited liability company, was introduced into Luxembourg legislation by the law of 23 July 2016. It is not a new company form, but a variant of the “classic” SARL. In this sense, the legal provisions relating to the SARL are applicable unless the provisions of the new law amend them. Since 16 January 2017, it has been accessible to natural persons through simplified formalities and lower costs and represents an ideal form of company for those who wish to venture into entrepreneurship while benefiting from a secure legal framework.
