The Signature – Logo with invitation
The Luxembourg Signature consists of the LuXembourg logo – composed of the word “Luxembourg” with the X symbol – and the Let’s make it happen invitation.
Why the Let’s make it happen invitation? It sums up our country’s vision: that of a committed player on the international scene, a strong ally in the context of sustainable growth, a facilitator of innovative ideas that can contribute to a better world. The word “it” evokes in particular everything that Luxembourg aspires to bring to the world: more creativity, more diversity, more sustainability. The logo and the invitation are inseparable. The composition is fixed and cannot be changed. The present version of the logo with the Let’s make it happen invitation is the preferred version for the promotion of Luxembourg. The Signature is tricolored. However, there are also two monochrome variants: a negative white monochrome and a black monochrome. On black, dark or colored backgrounds or on photos, the Signature can be used in a monochrome white negative version. The monochrome black on white version can be used if technical reasons require it.
Logo without invitation
The Signature can also be used without the Let’s make it happen invitation. This application is recommended for situations where the tagline may be perceived as inappropriate (e.g. for sensitive communication) or where official rules restrict use (e.g. world sports federation rules).
Special application
For German applications only, there is a special form of the logo in which the word “Luxembourg” is adapted to the German spelling.
Structure and exclusion zone
The combination and proportions of the logo elements are fixed and should not be changed.
The exclusion zone is the minimum distance between the Signature on the one hand and other visual elements and the edge of the usable space on the other. It corresponds to a gap of “2L” on each side, an “L” corresponding to the height of the letter “L” in the logo. This minimum distance must be respected in order to keep the Signature clear and legible.
Sizes
The logo with the invitation cannot be less than 3 cm wide. There is no size limitation upwards.nThe logo without the invitation cannot be less than 2 cm wide.

Colors
The Signature is tricolored. The red and blue in the X symbol represent the national colors and are complemented by black for the text elements.
Whenever possible, the color version of the Signature on White should be used.
However, there are also two monochrome variants: a white monochrome and a black monochrome. On black, dark or colored backgrounds or on photos, the Signature can be used in white monochrome or in white with the X symbol in color (if legibility allows it). The monochrome black on white version can be used if technical reasons require it.
Prohibited versions
In order to ensure a coherent presentation of Luxembourg abroad, all graphic rules must be respected. Please find below the various prohibited versions of the Luxembourg Signature:
The individual elements of the Luxembourg Signature cannot be changed in their proportions or positions in relation to each other.
It is not permitted to use any detached elements of the Luxembourg Signature.
The invitation cannot be changed.
The color versions of the Luxembourg Signature cannot be combined.
The Luxembourg Signature cannot be integrated into an expression.
The Luxembourg Signature cannot be placed on a background that does not provide sufficient contrast.
The Luxembourg Signature cannot be distorted, compressed or stretched.
Graphic effects of any kind are not permitted.
